The best spot I have found for the kind of photos I like is at the corner of Hollywood Blvd. and Las Vegas Blvd. This is across the street from the fence and in front of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.In some DLR circles this has been called shooting fish in a barrel. This link will give you a perspective of what kind of shots that will be available to you and some of the background. Their is another spot at the end of Cheyenne next to the golf course but if the are landing north to south it doesnt work. East of the field on Los Feliz off of Lake Mead Blvd. their is a ballfield that backs up to a good view of the runways. The problem is that your a pretty good distance away and a long lens is a must.
