If you expect to hear some scanner activity during the campout, it isn't very likely. Sometimes the MOAs are active on Saturdays, but probably not on a holiday weekend. If you show up before or after the campout, your best bet would be the FWS (Flight Weapons School) frequencies. The ground units used during Red Flag are also used during FWS training and can be picked up on most scanners. You need a scanner that covers military air band to get most of the action.
