my husband and i went out in feb. we did the mail box and out groom lake road to the border. saw a cammo dude and got pics of the signs and antenna/camera things. i found some great fossils. when we went back to our truck to leave the border we had a flat tire! we were nervous staying there so close to the cammo dude and border so we drove back about a quarter of a mile and stopped to fix the flat. we didn't think we could get triple a out there! we didn't have any cell reception either! looking up groom lake road to the highway we noticed a dark vehicle parked and we could see the reflection of what we figured out were the lens of binoculars! they were watching us from that far away. we got the tire changed and left to go back to vegas. the next morning we were at a mcdonalds at the border of the airport on the vegas strip and we saw a janet plane headed for the runway! that capped off our area 51 adventure!
