Yes, probably the cameras have a fairly wide angle of view. In fact there are two cameras on the hill south of the GL Rd. signs. One points right at the signs, and one down the road, out towards Hwy.375. The signal from the cameras (and all others I have seen in the area) seems to go up to the relay station on Bald Mtn.
