Security Satellites vs Direct-TV

The birds that Skywatcher is referring to are simple geo-stationary orbit satellites (22,000 miles up). Very easy target to take out with a few bursts of EMF! Please don’t compare what we have to Direct-TV!!

We are actually using low earth orbit satellites. Now that the government purchased them, they have a bit more control. While still prone to hostile attacks, they can be deployed and moved much easier than the geo-birds. Too much red tape to move a fixed platform.

Space is getting crowed in the Allen belt, thus the reason for fiber optics and land based microwave systems. Once all the “cables” are buried, most in emf casings, we feel the need for any satellites, for communication purposes, will be greatly reduced. Plus, fiber offers a more secure vehicle to move data. A launch from White Sands can put a spy up in just a matter of minutes if need be.
