Question for Chuck, or Peter (or anyone else who knows!)

Just looking at Gary's excellent photos of the Red Flag Hind (& Kfir), & wondering who 'really' operates these adversary aircraft?

Of course they're FOR the use of the military, but sometimes the demarcation between 'military' pilots, & civilian 'contractors' gets a little blurred!

If they're USAF, which unit owns/flies them?
If they're civvy, which company operates them??
And where do the (ex-Bulgarian?) Hinds stay when not flying around the Nellis ranges???

Anyone know for sure?
