The video you're speaking of was originally shot by Bruce Burgess of Transmedia Productions for broadcast in the UK. The whole F-15 scene was bogus - actually, they did a flight in a Cessna during Green Flag exercises where they got the shot with a long lens, so the jets weren't nearly as close as they tried to make them look in the production. It's sad that, when shooting a documentary, production crews feel the need to "spice up" or sensationalize their work instead of relying on real facts and images. Note: For those of you new to DLR, Green Flag was a wargame that used to be staged separate from Red Flag over the Nellis Range. It was more concerned with electronic evasion and jamming than the aerial combat that was the subject of Red Flags at that time. Now, both aspects are incorporated into Red Flag exercises, hence - no more Green Flags.
