I've seen the F22 at both Nellis and in the ranges.

You would probably see what passes for the F35 flying at Edwards. Neither plane is much of a secret. Now speaking of documentaries, perhaps because my knowledge is so limited, I really liked the "Battle of the X Planes" (or something like that) documentary that PBS did in their Nova series.

I'm not sure Edwards every showed the real F35 at their open houses. They had a mock-up at the last Nellis airshow.
