Three years ago I rented a 28ft. motorhome from CruiseAmerica in Vegas. I took it down Groom Lake Rd. with no problems. I kept it at 35mph or less as the grader had gone down the road that day and it was a little washboardy. (is that a word).I parked and camped about 100 yards before the proposed campsite on the left hand side of the road. I didnt have any problem pulling off and drove in maybe 10 yards. I didnt have any trouble leveling it .I think I used one chock of wood under one tire and all the appliances worked great.
