I think "R Place" has such services, assuming tanking up 40 miles before camping is suitable. I know there is a hose spigot at the Exon in Alamo. Just how much water are we talking about and it is for drinking? I load up my water cans at the Exon, but I only use it for putting out camp fires. I always bring bottled water for drinking. In the desert, it is a good idea to drink some Gatoraid or Poweraid once in a while. [Alternate with water, that is every other bottle or every third bottle.]]
