Thanks Joerg for your input, its hard gathering all the facts living in another state and trying to fully prepare for a trip. Basically what we are wanting to do is head up towards tikaboo peak on ATV's getting as close as we can safely then spend a couple days camping there. Were using the ATVs mainly to help transport gear as close as we can to our final destination (even though Im still a young man in my late thirties I dont look forward to lugging a 50 to 80 pound ruck on my back any further then needed, I had enough of that when I was in the sevice) Here in Michigan the DNR guys are pretty anal about orv/atv's having the proper sticker for offroad use on state lands and have been known to hand out some hefty fines for those not following proper procedures
As for permits or stickers is there a BLM information number I might call so I might try to get the facts
