The danger is not of getting shot, but rather the elements and ground conditions that you are going to face, depending on the time of year that you intend to attempt the climb, and how long you intend to stay up there, if you make it.

Try and tie up with some of the people who have already done it, During a Red Flag is a good time, and the The Little Ale'Inn at Rachel is a good meeting place, it's also another good source of info.

But make your plans carefully and get the right equipment before you try
