I did this years ago so I really can't say how I set it up. This link should get you started. I noticed they don't call it beta anymore. There is also a feature to get alerts from the web. I certainly hope that is to send an alert when something new is posted. I'd hate to get every Area 51 hit on the web emailed to me each day.
