You may be right, but i find it very difficult to believe that gas prices and "creature comforts" are keeping the cammo dudes from using the humvees. It seems unlikely that they wouldn't use a vehicle that can handle rough terrain and withstand extreme heat and cold (as well as many other rought conditions) better than any other vehicle in the world because of reasons like the ones above.
