Groomlake Underground Facilities

I agree, the large buildings are big enough to contain a number of the size and shape of the aircraft that we regularly see flying in that general area.
But what if the aircraft are bigger than we are used to, and how are they powered? If it is a very dangerous substance, surely they would store that kind of material underground.......Just in case.
And where better to test it....Just in case.
They could be very large....why has the runway been widened?....to cope with something very large landing on it. And maybe turbine engines as we know them today just are not capable of getting the thing of the ground.
