Could it be that the entrance to any tunnels etc could be inside the large hangers. That would prevent any possibility of photographs etc.
Any spoil could be moved out overnight and by daylight would be miles away, there would also be no trace of tracks etc being used if the trucks carrying the spoil were to use the concrete roadways.

As for the tunneling itself, didn't someone earlier this year refer to small earthquakes in that area?
That could have been small explosions as the rock was being blasted.

I might be wrong, what do you think?
