If your goal is doing telephotography, there is no book. There are astrophotography books, but it really is a different discipline from telephotography. The most similar telescope application would be birding, but nobody does birding over 26 miles. This book explains the hardware or telescope->extension_tube->barlow->prime_focus_adapter->tring->camera You can always go to sci.astro.amateur on usenet (newsgroups).

However, here it is for free.
telescope->extension_tube->visual_back->eyepiece_projection hardware->t-ring->camera
Other than shooting the moon, most astrophotography timing is very slow, nothing like the 1/30th bottom limit you need for daytime shooting. Thus a camera suggestion you find in an astrophotography book may not be suitable for telephotography.
