A pilot who would probably like to remain nameless was flying the "95 corridor" and strayed to far into the Nellis range. He was met by two A-10s. They came up on 121.5.

I've done the experiment to prove Bald Mountain has transponder equipment, that is, I proved it is an ATC facility among other uses. What I can't tell is if the information goes to Nellis ATC or just Groom. I've never seen Bald Mountain listed as a JSS, but I wouldn't expect the government to say anything about the facility. Other JSS have signs indicating their use.
