Even if you can get to the staging area for Tikaboo, there will be snow on the hillside. I'd suggest comiong back in May. You can do most of the other "trips" in the winter, i.e. go to the border at Bald Mountain, power line overlook, back gate, front gate, etc. I drove to the front gate once when GLR was covered with snow and found no cammo dudes. They sent a chopper, then eventually woke up a few cammo dudes to watch me. I suggest that your 4x4 be equipped with off-road tires. Sometimes melting snow can make the trails slippery in spots.
