I hear the cattle downwind from the Test Site are supersized. Speaking of the NTS, I visited the Atomic Museum when I was in Vegas. It's not quite ready yet (the last display opens up in December), but they have quite a few photos from the NTS, Alamagordo, etc. Even a mock "Davey Crockett" bomb. There is some sort of gear recovered from the test site in a glass display case. There is an accompanying photograph of some workers in protective suits recovering the gear from an underground chamber. Since the gear was in a glass display case, it couldn't be radioactive, so I asked about the suits. It turns out they used protective gear in the event of hanta virus. As if mice could live on the test site...
