Everybody has already hit the high points about what is the fascination of AREA 51; the majestic beauty of the location, the mystery of trying to figure out just what is so important that we as citizens must be denied knowlege, what is myth and what is being flown that will win our next wars.
In our complex society that no outside culture has been able to figure us out since the revolutionary war, we poke and prod and look to see while those on the other side hide and duck and cover. It's a harmless game that has rules that we obey, with lines we do not cross. We do not endorse crossing the barriers, or taunting the hard-working sentinals on the other side of the line. They have a tough job that keeps them from their families and free time as we all do. They would talk to us about their boring jobs, but they can't. the people, just like us, that work there would endander their livlihoods to speak of what they work on in secret. We know that. we hope to find enough information to piece together parts of a puzzle that we do not know the size, shape or color of. we get glimpses and have collectively figured several things out. There is nothing Alien about the area, but it is inexplicably isolated. There are machines flying from there that even the sharpest of observers cannot identify. It has grown and expanded tremendously in recent years giving proof that what is happening there is bearing such fruit as to have their efforts redoubled. But what? Ah, and there lies the interest.
