So now the story gets a bit clearer- The Looking Glass plane is/was an EC-135 and the Looking Glass was decommissioned in favor of the EA4-B "Take Charge and Move Out" aircraft. The E4-B "Doomsday Plane" is a 747 body, so the documentary made a mistake in calling the E4-B a Looking Glass aircraft-- I'm sure I heard them say it. Okay-- so off to do more research about the E4-B, which has now taken top slot in my brain for most intriguing aircraft- Off to do more research...I'm good with google searches, but if anyone out there can share stories or sightings of E4-B, that would be most interesting. What a grim yet important mission.
