Cell phone sites and 800Mhz trunk systems are not the best things to have co-located since they are close in frequency. Also, there is some sort of black magic in locating cell phone sites in that you don't want the site to have too much range. It sounds counter intuitive, but the idea is if the site has too much range, it will interfere with other cell sites that use the same frequencies.

The TTR has cell phone coverage and I suspect that S4 has coverage as well. [Of course, never being on the territory, it is hard to tell for sure.] Something I never tried but might prove interesting is to test a cell phone as close to the guard shack on Cedar Pass Road. You may get coverage if you are close to the pass. Prior to Verizon installing digital hardware in Tonopah, I would roam on the AT&T network. So you would need a phone that is on AT&T, Verizon, or one with a roaming contract.
