There certainly hasn't been a report of real MIGs used in action, but there is nothing preventing the use of Soviet era aircraft either. The use of the MI-24 is a good example. Of course, somebody has to develop a "pod" for the MIGs. Besides the link provided, check out As an FYI, generally Red Flag "tourists" don't see the enemy aircraft, at least not at Coyote. [OK, once I saw an agressor chase a plane out to Coyote.] I'm sure someone will chime in, but my recollection is you need to hang out near the Cedar Pipeline Ranch to see a dog fight.
