Tour Agenda
Mojave-Southern Great Basin Resource Advisory Council
Thursday, Aug. 19, 2004

8 a.m. Depart BLM Tonopah Field Station, 1553 S. Main Street, Tonopah, Nev.

9:30 a.m. Arrive in Railroad Valley for a brief overview of oil and gas fields, and a visit of the Railroad Valley Waterfowl Management Area.

10:30 a.m. Depart Railroad Valley.

11:15 a.m. Arrive Reveille Valley (Warm Springs) for a windshield tour of the Reveille Allotment (the tour will also include a look at a portion of the proposed rail transportation corridor for the Yucca Mountain Nuclear Waste Repository).

12:15 p.m. Enjoy LUNCH under the cottonwoods at the old Cedar Pipeline Ranch.

1 p.m. Depart Cedar Pipeline Ranch to continue the windshield tour of the Reveille Allotment, passing through three Herd Management Areas (HMAs) and the Stone Cabin Allotment.

2:30 p.m. Arrive at the South Ralston Allotment for a windshield tour (drive past the Midway Drilling Project).

4:30 p.m. Depart Ralston Allotment.

4:45 p.m. Arrive at the BLM Tonopah Field Station.
