I got access to some 1998 USGS air photos of the area at 1m resolution. It's on the USGS free server, you just need an application to access it (I'm using Terrabrowser on a mac, which I don't think will do you all that much good).

There is a tunnel entrance, with a large pipe running into it. There are several large buildings, as well. No runway. Looks like a mine, maybe? There are quite a few cars present around the site. If it was anything very exciting, I don't think the USGS would have gotten photos. There are several very large buildings on the site, as well... some sort of production is going on there. Again, though, no runways.
