Hello all, I completed my 3rd trip to Tikaboo Peak two days ago and placed the first (to my knowledge) Geocache at the summit. If you don't know about this activity, go to Geocaching.com and check it out. The cache is hidden under rocks just inches west of the Tikaboo benchmark boulder. It is a small clear plastic container that has a geocache notification, log, Brother squishy baseball and laserpen cap (the only little things I had in my car to cache). If you find the cache, please sign the log. Feel free to take what you want from the cache, just be sure to add something new to it if you take something (or just add to it since there is nothing fun in there anyway). I also tried to pack out some of the bottles, sunglasses, cans, and mre wrappers that are littering the peak and drawing tons of ants, bees, and mice to the formerly barren summit. On Geocaching.com, search for the Tikaboo Peak cache or for the gps coordinates. I mentioned Dreamlandresort.com for researching how to get to the summmit (and bring more traffic to this great site).
