That was about the last time I saw or heard one. Traffic into Beale generally turns onto final right over my house, and most days it is pretty constant.....U2s, T-38s, KC-135s, etc. Not very many C-5s these days, and the KC-10 traffic is almost nil. The past week or so has been eerily quiet. So far today only one aircraft early this morning, it sounded like a KC-135. I've lived here about 19 years, and have never seen a lull like this. If they close down Beale, I'll go nuts due to lack of turbine noise....;) Will (NorCal)
