Morning all

Just to complete the description of lift, from Aaron's earlier mail.

The curvature on the upper portion of ain airplane wing has more curvature than the bottom. Consequently the air has to traverse a greater distance across the top compared to the underside of the wing. This does, indeed, create a low pressure zone above the wing and it is the pressure of the air from the slower moving stream beneath the wing that excerts an upward pressure on the wing that is the actual genertor of the "lift".

Oh - bit surprised that Aaron hasn't found a UFo in the mix somewhere to blame the accident on. (cheap dig I know - sorry - but then that's me all over - cheap)

For another failed project of a potentially brialliant aircraft, look no further than the British Aircraft Corporation and the TSR2
