On second thought, this really would be a good idea. It would certainly take the current tension off these boards. This board is mainly about the technical aspects of the whole thing anyway. We can get into the "alien" aspect elsewhere. I've been on many boards that have split before and while the new board suffers in numbers for awhile, it grows and without all of the tension (except for silly trolls who follow people to the new board simply to harrass them).

Heh, it would be a lot of work though and I can't commit too much time to it. I would help moderate it if need be though.
