The Delamar Dry Lake Test Annex is the subject of a clean up of sorts. I can't really find better details. In any event, if there was no infrastructure, then I assumed they dumped something in the area that required clean-up. If you visit the area, there are one or two spots that are fenced off. These areas are not as flat as the rest of the dry lake. Beyond that, I didn't notice anyting unusual about them.
