Thanks Andy, for what you say is true, but as I watch these jets fly past me in formation -- loose and/or tight -- only one will have this short contrail -- saying contrail for lack of a better discription -- and the other jets don't emit anything, therefore it's not a true contrail. That's why I believe that they're doing some kind of a test. Down range another jet may or may not let out a puff just like the first one did. Farther down range I have no idea, since they're out of site. Thanks everyone for your input on this.
