EG&G ran or may still run the "remote sensing" airplanes for the DOE that operate out of Nellis. These planes do gamma surveys, hunt nukes, etc. I've photographed two of their planes as they landed at Nellis (N185XP and N334GW), and maybe 3 years ago I spotted one of their helicopters, which has some strange sensors on the side. At the time I didn't know it was EG&G's, but later saw it in a document online.

The EG&G buildings near McCarran are still there on Grier Drive. Grier is one of the G's in EG&G.
