To whom it may consern, the Canadian F-4 is in fact a CF-104 Starfighter that crashed at a Red Flag Excersise in Feb 21, 1979. Aircraft impacted side of mountain during tactical egress after weapons release. Capt. B.B. Ried perished in accident. Also Canada does not and never has operated the F-4 Phantom or F-16. We currently operate the F-18., or as we have named it the CF-118.
