Since William B. Scott was the one who published the article, you can bet it's good. Having read AW&ST for the past 30 years, not that he has been with them that long, I do remember his stories from the 90's about many of these vehicles and have never found any reason to doubt his reporting. BTW, I don't understand the reference to the previous Steve Douglass posting since it has all been proven to be true, that is, what was heard over the radio. I remember back around 1980 when there were reports that the USAF had an aircraft that was invisible to RADAR and many laughed at that as well. Say what you want about William Scott, but nobody has ever shown any valid reason to doubt his reporting.
