Reading the link to the newspaper article it would appear that most damage is to the ranchers livelyhoods.
Is there an alternative route under discussion or is it a done deal.You would have thought a route in from the Hiko area would have been shorter into a protected area quicker ie off of public land or down thru TTR instead of skirting that area.Just seems a roundabout sort of route,can't see it making much impact on Rachel.
