Thanks. That link turned out to be very useful. I logged 3 ILS's from a local hilltop. Turns out one of them is pointing within a degree of that hilltop, and it also explains why I see so many planes flying in that particular direction. I couldn't hear the ones not pointing to the hill, which of course makes sense.
