They _are_ originally radar calibration targets. I guess the folks at Groom found another use for them. To walk the border you need to watch out for both. You will usually see one every 10 or 20 orange posts. And yes, the old border, before they took Freedom Ridge and White Sides, is still marked with the orange poles and silver balls as well. DO NOT FOLLOW THAT LINE. It will lead you right into the now restricted area.

There is a camera and signs at the end of the road to Bald Mtn. You can see it in our Tikaboo Expedition 2000 video. To see the camera you need to fork left short before the border. If you follow the main road, slightly turning right there, you get to another set of sighns, but no (obvious) camera.
