The Pro-89 does not cover mil air. You can google "mil air capable scanner" to get various lists of scanners that will do the job. I've got a few mil air scanners, but my favorite is the Yupiteru MVT7100 that sells on ebay quite often. It sounds exceptionally clean on AM. [I'm a bit baffled by the prices on ebay for this scanner that go from $120 to well over $300, but I would guess under $200 is a fair price.Mine was $150 with a Rat Shack discone thrown in the deal.] Note that the MVT-7100 does not have a PC port, so you need to program it totally by hand. No alphanumerics either. It's claim to fame is great reception.
