I own two Skunk Works books. One is by Steve Pace. It is unremarkable. Most if the information is relatively common knowledge to any "Interceptor" or black plane enthusiast.

The other I cannot endorse enough. In fact, you can buy just about any book by Jay Miller and be happy! His Aerofax books ALWAYS contain a wealth of pictures and data and text about little known projects. Have you heard of the "Fish" or "Kingfish" aircraft? Have you seen any pictures of "Suntan" or it's mockups or subscale hardware?

I may be confusing some of this data from his SR-71 book.

At any rate, this is about the best $20-$25 you can spend on any book with the subject matter. I own 5 of his books and will buy more in the future.
