Hi Steve, I'm sure your recording is genuine. I think it is either part of a disinformation programme or a ruse to see who is monitoring certain signals, it wouldn't be the first time that a government agency has done this!!. I have heard of similar things happening both in the US and here in the UK, and I'm sure many other countries.
