The secrecy and gossip, concerning the then unnamed to us civilians, concerning the B-2 stealth was very great. I belonged to several mainstream clubs and organizations, and people would bring in 'box camera' type pictures of the B-2 flying over their homes which just off of the runways at Whiteman. Super secret, hush hush stuff. The governmment deied the existance of the aircraft, and we were looking at these almost Buck Rogers like pictures of these black bats. =end=
