I recall a railroad station or two, but no tracks from Tonopah on south. The grade still exists, but the tracks are gone. I believe they have to pay tax to some government entity if the rails exist, so when the line die, they yank the rail.

There is a nice railroad station in Rhyolite, but unfortunately it's not open to the public. You can see it, but it is fenced in.

It is more likely than not that the whole railroad notion will not happen and the waste will be trucked.
