Agreed. In Germany, where these transports have been done for years, they have environmentalists chain themselves to the tracks each time a transport is scheduled. Why that should make the transports any safer escapes me, though... ;-) Seriously, as a part-time resident of Rachel, and frequend camper in the area, I am very concerned about both the environmental impact and the restrictions that are to be expected. Railroad Valley, including the wild horse refuge, will change forever, if the plans go through!
