To get to the Cedar Pipeline Ranch from Rachel, take Hiway 375 northwest to Queen City summit (14 miles). 2.5 miles further a well maintained road heads straight west. Take that road about eight miles and you'll be at the ranch. It certainly matches your description. I've shamelessly promoted my Web page about the ranch with the attached link. :)
