Actually, the MACH 25 UAV's are ready to fly. It's the Shuttle accident that has delayed the tests. You currently know the demonstrators as the X-40 SMV (Which was supposed to be launched from the shuttle this year or next for it's first orbital/re-entry test) and X-41 and the X-43 is leading to the MACH 8 bomber. The real question is whether the production version of the X-40 will be launched atop a booster or as a second stage in a TSTO airborne launch vehicle, such as the Brilliant Buzzard.
