I think that you should also take into consideration that it was a British Airways pilot. Last time I checked, over 3/4 of Britain do not/did not want to participate in the war effort. But then again, Joe Bremer was actually in Iraq, and I clearly saw him standing beside Bush while he read his Presidential address.
