Thanks to Lone Wolf, Russ, and Magoo for the information. Now that you mention it, the F-35 did look exceptionally clean. However...the F-22 looked every bit as clean, and we do see them fly out of Nellis these more frequently these days. In fact I think they have five of them at the base now. The third member of the triad, the F-117 from Holloman was very clean also, and it flew the "demo" flight on Sunday. Thinking back...all of the static display aircraft were clean as a whistle, even the Aggressor F-16. I don't think it was the rain. I did notice that the Aggressor aircraft had been repainted at Hill AFB in August of this year.
