The JSF on static display at the Nellis airshow was unannounced beforehand as far as I know. It caught me by surprise. Very interesting looking aircraft. They had the F-117, F-22, and F-35 on display together and that made a nice comparative setup. On Sunday (cool and wet), relatively few people showed up; it was not crowded at all. My daughter and I agree that the F-14 maximum-performance demo stole the show...on both days. He seemed to simply "out perform" the other guys. I know that in reality, that may not be true, however the pilot really put that big jet through it's paces, and the audience seemed to appreciate it.
