I've often heard low pitched humming sounds along the ET highway. I used to think they were "heavy" prop airplanes or maybe some UAV, but have concluded that the sound is from distant trucks. I made this conclusion from observations while camped out by the ET Highway. The sound carries a great distance if the wind is calm or blowing gently in your direction. Eventually the truck will pass your camp and the mystery is solved.
